Seminole Sunday Sauce — Feb. 2, 2025: FSU Football’s 2025 Schedule Released

We won’t know until the fall whether or not Florida State football can bounce back from its worst season in 50 years. One thing that is now known is what the road to doing so will look like.

Long announced, Alabama will christen the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium for the season opener on Aug. 30. FSU will play its first three games at home with non-conference contests against East Texas A&M on Sept. 6 and Kent State on Sept. 20.

FSU will open and close ACC play with Friday night road games. The Seminoles begin the conference slate against Virginia on Sept. 26 and conclude it at NC State on Nov. 21. FSU begins October with a pair of ACC home games — against Miami on Oct. 4 and Pittsburgh on Oct. 11. FSU takes on Stanford for the first time ever on Oct. 18 in Palo Alto.

FSU opens November at home against Wake Forest before traveling to face reigning ACC champion Clemson on Nov. 8. FSU wraps up its home slate against Virginia Tech on Nov. 15 and its regular season at Florida on Nov. 29.

The Seminoles are coming off a 2-10 season. Entering Mike Norvell’s sixth season at the helm, FSU has made a handful of coaching changes. Times and television networks will be announced at a later date.
