Seminole Sunday Sauce — Nov. 3, 2024: FSU Soccer Beats Miami, Clinches Spot in ACC Tournament
Florida State soccer will begin its ACC championship defense on Sunday. The Seminoles assured themselves a spot in the 6-team tournament with a 1-0 win over rival Miami in the regular season finale on Thursday.
Wrianna Hudson scored the lone goal of the match late in the first half. Camille Ashe and Olivia Lebdaoui added assists for the Seminoles.
Despite being held to one goal, FSU dominated the match. FSU finished with 16 shots to just three for the Hurricanes.
With the win, FSU finishes the regular season 12-2-2 and 7-2-1 in ACC play. The Seminoles will be the No. 3 seed in the tournament and open at home on Sunday night against No. 6 seed Notre Dame.
