Seminole Sunday Sauce — Jan. 21, 2024: FSU Softball Ranked No. 3 in Preseason Softball America Poll

With the start of the 2024 season just weeks away, Florida State softball will again start the year with high expectations. The Seminoles will begin the year ranked third in the Softball America Poll.

FSU enters the year with five players ranked among D1Softball’s top 100 players. Outfielders Jahni Kerr (28) and Kaley Mudge (40) made the list along with catcher Michaela Edenfield (52), pitcher Makenna Reid (69) and outfielder Kalei Harding (75).

The Seminoles open the season by hosting the JoAnne Graf Classic. They’ll begin the year against Charlotte on Feb. 8.
