Seminole Sunday Sauce — Nov. 20, 2022: FSU Women’s Cross Country Finishes 18th at NCAA Championships

Another Florida State team’s season in the books.

The FSU women’s cross country team wrapped up its 2022 season with a strong showing in the NCAA Championships in Stillwater, Okla. FSU finished 18th on Saturday — just the 13th top-20 finish in program history.

Emmy van den Berg paced FSU with a 50th-place finish. Alyson Churchill and Agnes McTighe also posted top-100 finishes for the Seminoles.

The FSU men failed to qualify for the NCAA Championships, but as an individual, Fearghal Curtin finished 93rd. Claiming the men’s team national championship was Northern Arizona. NC State took home the women’s title.
