This Week in FSU Athletics: Basketball Tournaments and Elite in Soccer

FSU is wrapping up the regular season for Fall sports!

Looking at the week ahead, here’s a preview for what Florida State has coming up:

Football

Despite all odds, the Seminoles have overcome the challenges before them to position themselves for a post-season run. The last obstacle in their path is the Florida Gators, a program reeling after yet another loss against an SEC team on the road. With Dan Mullen officially fired from his position as head coach, Mike Norvell, and this FSU squad have an opportunity to secure wins over both in-state rivals for the first time since the 2016 season.

Florida State will face the University of Florida in Gainesville this Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at noon ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.

Men’s Basketball

The Seminoles are hitting the road for the ACC x B1G Challenge, making their way to Purdue for a tipoff on Tuesday, November 30th, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET.

Women’s Basketball

The ‘Noles are in St. Petersburg, FL this week to play in a tournament setting. Their first tipoff is against BYU this Thanksgiving Thursday, November 25th, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET. The game will be broadcast on FloSports. Assuming a win, they will then face the winner of the WVU/Purdue matchup this Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at a TBD time (the game will broadcast on FloSports).

Soccer

The FSU Soccer team has made their way into the Elite Eight! They face a challenging opponent in the ninth-ranked Michigan Wolverines this Friday, November 26th, 2021 at 2:00 PM ET. The game will be played in Tallahassee, FL, so we encourage Seminole Nation to show up to the game to pull on the top-ranked ‘Noles! For those who are unable to attend the quarterfinal matchup, we encourage you to tune in to the ACCNX.

Volleyball

The FSU volleyball team will wrap up their regular season when they host the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets at home in Tallahassee, FL this Friday, November 26th, 2021 at 6:00 PM ET. The game will be broadcast on the ACCNX.
