This Week in FSU Athletics: Back to Santa Clara!

With Track & Field opening, the ‘Noles have a busy week ahead!

Looking at the week ahead, here’s a preview for what Florida State has coming up:

Men’s Basketball

The conference schedule is nearing ever closer as the Seminoles look forward to hosting the Syracuse Orangemen this Saturday, December 4th, 2021 at 4:00 PM ET. The game will be played in the Donald L. Tucker Center and be broadcast on the ACC Network.

Women’s Basketball

The women’s squad will be traveling north to Champaign, IL to take on the Illani today at 8:00 PM ET. The game will be broadcast on the B1G+. The game is part of the B1G/ACC Challenge.

Then, the ‘Noles return home to take on Charleston Southern this Sunday, December 5th, 2021 at 2:00 PM ET. The game will be broadcast on the ACCNX.

Soccer

We’re back in Santa Clara as the ‘Noles pursue redemption in their 2021 campaign. They will face the 5th ranked Scarlet Knights of Rutgers this Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 7:00 PM ET. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU. The winner of the semifinal matchup will face the winner of the BYU vs Santa Clara matchup in the National Championship game. Assuming the ‘Noles and Santa Clara both win their games this Friday, it will be a rematch of the 2020 National Championship.

Volleyball

The women’s volleyball team has made their way to Lincoln, NE to kick off the NCAA Tournament! The first team they face will be the Kansas State Wildcats, with tipoff at 5:30 PM ET this Friday, December 3rd, 2021. The winner of this matchup will then play against the winner of Nebraska vs Campbell match at 8:00 PM ET this Saturday, December 4th, 2021.

Track & Field

We’re off to the races this Track & Field season, making our way north first to Clemson, SC for the Clemson Opener this Friday, December 3rd, 2021. Then, the ‘Noles will immediately head north to Boston, MA to participate in Boston University’s Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener this Saturday, December 4th, 2021.
