It’s Thursday, Florida State fans.

Stay safe. As you draw nearer to the weekend, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

Florida State men’s golf had its worst day at the Folds of Honor Collegiate on Wednesday, but that didn’t stop the Seminoles from a top-3 finish.

FSU finished in third place in Grand Haven, Mich. As a team, FSU finished +10. That trailed winner Illinois and second-place Arizona.

The Seminoles led after the first day. Following the second day, FSU’s Brett Roberts was the individual leader.

It was Cole Anderson, who paced FSU, finishing -1 — good for a tie for eighth. Roberts finished in 10th at even par. Liberty’s Jonathan Yaun finished -5 and won a playoff hole to take the individual crown.

FSU will have one more event this fall. The Seminoles will be in Juno Beach for the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, beginning Oct. 10.
