As it takes on Boston College on Saturday night, Florida State football looks to improve to 4-0 on the season. On the recruiting trail, the Seminoles have already come up with two big victories this week.
The latest came on Friday as 5-star wide receiver Hykeem Williams committed to the Seminoles. The Fort Lauderdale prospect’s commitment came in grand fashion as FSU wide receiving legends Peter Warrick and Marvin “Snoop” Minnis were present to hand Williams his FSU attire at his ceremony.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Williams is the No. 22 overall prospect for the 2023 recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Williams chose the Seminoles over Miami, Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State, among others.
Williams becomes the 16th commitment for FSU’s 2023 class. He is the third wide receiver and top prospect overall in the class.
With the commitment, FSU’s class now ranks 16th overall, according to the 247Sports Composite. It is the third-best class in the ACC.
