It’s Sunday, Florida State fans.

As you try to end your weekend on a high note, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

Florida State volleyball’s mini skid is over. After dropping consecutive matches to ranked Creighton and Florida teams, the Seminoles had little trouble with UAB on Saturday in a 3-0 victory.

The Blazers hung tough in the second set, falling 25-23, but scored just 14 points in the other two. FSU posted a .320 attacking percentage in the win — more than double UAB’s total.

Emma Clothier led FSU with 11 kills in the win. Audrey Koenig added nine kills and a team-high 10 digs. Alex Kells led UAB with eight kills and 10 digs in the loss.

With the win, FSU improves to 8-3 on the season. The Seminoles will open ACC play on Friday against Notre Dame.
