It’s Thursday, Florida State fans.

As a football Friday inches closer, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

One day after Florida State’s 2022-23 men’s basketball schedule was finalized, the same is now true for the FSU women.

As with the men, the non-conference was set last month. Following a non-conference slate that includes contests against Florida, Houston, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Wisconsin and Connecticut, FSU will open ACC play on Dec. 21 at home against rival Miami.

Plenty of stellar talent will come to the Donald L. Tucker Center this season. The Seminoles will play NC State and Louisville in back-to-back home games on Jan. 12 and Jan. 15, respectively.

FSU will play home-and-homes this season with Miami, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest. The Seminoles will celebrate Senior Day and play their final home game against Georgia Tech on Feb. 19. They wrap up the regular season with road games against Wake Forest and Clemson on Feb. 23 and Feb. 26, respectively.

FSU is coming off a 17-14 season in which it fell to Missouri State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Sara Bejedi, O’Mariah Gordon and Valencia Myers are among the key returning players for first-year head coach Brooke Wyckoff. To view the full 2022-23 schedule, click here.
