After jumping into the top 20 last week in the College Football Playoff rankings, Florida State is inching its way toward the top 15.

The Seminoles rose three spots to No. 16 in the latest rankings released on Tuesday. Since a 3-game losing streak in the middle of the year, FSU has bounced back with three straight victories — all by at least 25 points.

The Seminoles are 8-3 — their highest win total since 2016. FSU was also No. 16 this week in each of the traditional polls. FSU will wrap up the regular season on Friday night at home against rival Florida.

FSU volleyball’s Sydney Conley, Audrey Koenig and Emery Dupes were each named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

FSU and the College Football Hall of Fame will jointly honor former linebacker and 2022 College Football Hall of Fame electee Marvin Jones with an “On-Campus Salute” during Friday night’s football game against Florida.
