For the 44th straight NCAA Tournament, Florida State baseball finds itself in the field.
The Seminoles will head to Auburn for regional play, beginning on Friday. The No. 3 seed in the double-elimination Auburn Regional, FSU opens with UCLA on Friday.
UCLA finished the regular season with a record of 38-20 and will be the No. 2 seed in the regional. On the other side of the bracket is host and No. 14 national seed Auburn and Southeastern Louisiana.
The Auburn Regional will take place Friday, Saturday, Sunday and if necessary, Monday. The winner of the regional will take on the winner of the Corvallis Regional, which consists of Oregon State, New Mexico State, Vanderbilt and San Diego, in a best-of-3 Super Regional.
For the season, FSU is 33-23. The Seminoles went 1-2 in regional play last season as they were ultimately eliminated by Southern Mississippi.

Rolling News and Notes
FSU men’s golfers Cole Anderson and Daniel Bradbury wrapped up their seasons at the NCAA Championships on Monday. Anderson finished tied for 40th at +11. Bradbury finished tied for 61st at +17.
FSU baseball fell out of the NCBWA Poll. It is not ranked in any other polls.
