Lead Story
For the second time in three days on Tuesday, Florida State added to its 2023 recruiting class.
The latest commitment came from 3-star linebacker DeMarco Ward. Just days after visiting Tallahassee, Ward pledged his services to the Seminoles.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, the Duluth, Ga. native becomes the ninth member of the class and only linebacker. Ward chose the Seminoles over the likes of UCF, Louisville, Memphis, Wake Forest and others.
Ranked as the No. 1,193 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite rankings, Ward brings FSU’s class up to 43rd nationally. That ranks just 10th among ACC schools.
