It’s Sunday, Florida State fans.
As you finish the weekend strong, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.
Lead Story
For Florida State football, Saturday was twice as nice.
The Seminoles landed a pair of 2023 prospects in Mississippi defensive back Quindarrius Jones and junior college defensive lineman Jaden Jones. Neither have a ranking, per the 247Sports Composite, but the FSU coaching staff had seen enough to offer a scholarship.
Quindarrius Jones has good size at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds. After attending FSU’s Elite Camp, he was provided an offer. It was his first from a major program.
Jaden Jones is a junior college transfer from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. Listed at 6-6 and 240 pounds, Jaden Jones chose FSU over the likes of Houston, Missouri, UTSA and others. He is a native of Birmingham, Ala.
Being that both are currently unranked, the additions do not affect FSU’s class ranking. The Seminoles are currently 26th, according to the Composite. Their class now has eight members.
