It’s Thursday, Florida State fans.

As you start thinking about the weekend, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

Two of Florida State’s most prominent women’s programs have added key transfers.

FSU soccer officially announced the addition of former Mississippi State midfielder Onyi Echegini on Wednesday. A native of London and an All-SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient, Echegini scored 11 goals and added five assists in three seasons in Starkville.

Former Arizona State pitcher Allison Royalty took to Instagram to announce her commitment to FSU softball. An All-Pac-12 Freshman team member in 2021, Royalty finished 2-1 with a 4.86 ERA and 37 strikeouts in nearly 32 innings last season.

Both programs are coming off stellar seasons. FSU soccer won its third national championship in eight seasons in 2021. FSU softball won the ACC and earned the No. 2 national seed before falling in the Tallahassee Regional.
