It’s Thursday, Florida State fans.

As you take on the day, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

Florida State safety Jammie Robinson will be the Seminoles’ lone representative on the 2022 preseason All-ACC team.

Released on Wednesday, Robinson received the third-most votes of any defensive player on the team. Robinson also received a pair of votes for ACC Player of the Year. Clemson led all teams with six preseason selections.

A transfer from South Carolina, Robinson shined in 2021 — his first season at FSU. Robinson led the Seminoles with 84 total tackles and four interceptions. He was tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles and added seven tackles for loss en route to being named first-team All-ACC.

Named a preseason All-American by some publications, Robinson has also made multiple watch lists for preseason awards. That includes the Jim Thorpe Award and Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch lists. Click here to view the preseason All-ACC team.
