Florida State women’s basketball got off to a bit of a slow start on Sunday, but once it got going, it couldn’t be stopped. The Seminoles rolled past Pittsburgh in Tallahassee, 74-37.
FSU led by as many as 44 points in the victory and held Pitt to just 16% shooting for the afternoon. Ta’Niya Latson and Sara Bejedi each led FSU with 19 points. Mariana Valenzuela added 11 points.
The Panthers didn’t have a single player score in double figures. Dayshanette Harris led the way with nine points in the loss.
With the win, FSU moves to 18-4 and 7-2 in ACC play for the season. The Seminoles will travel to take on No. 7 Notre Dame on Thursday.
