The Daily Sauce — Dec. 19, 2022: FSU Football Lands Colorado OL Transfer Roddick

It’s Monday, Florida State fans.

As you begin your week anew, see what’s in The Daily Sauce.

Lead Story

When it comes to building an offensive line, the transfer portal continues to be one of Florida State football’s best friends. The Seminoles added a veteran up front on Sunday with the addition of Colorado transfer Casey Roddick.

Roddick will spend his final season of eligibility in Tallahassee. A native of California, Roddick played more than 700 snaps for the Buffaloes last season. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder appeared in 42 career games, which includes 30 starts.

The FSU offensive line has seen a tremendous turnaround under position coach and offensive coordinator Alex Atkins. This past season, two transfers Dillan Gibbons and D’Mitri Emmanuel earned All-ACC honors up front for the Seminoles.
