TaReef’s Three Uniform Thoughts: Notre Dame

We’re starting a new weekly series that will have 12 (hopefully 13) editions this season. A weekly FSU Football uniform conversation with TaReef Knockout.

This week, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish come to town.

1 – Let’s talk about the history of what FSU has worn against Notre Dame.

The last two games against the Irish have been on the road. In 2018 we tried to relive the history of the white out shut out combo in ‘03. And last year we #PackTheGarnetPants in a loss. Other than that FSU has gonna pretty traditional in the 10 matchups.

2 – What do you think FSU will wear when they take the field on Sunday night against the Fighting Irish?

It’s rumored we’ll see a different look on Sunday and it doesn’t surprise if Coach Norvell goes with a new combo for this game . FSU and Notre Dame have a lot of gold so Mike may want to switch things up. The players, fans and recruits love the white helmets that were teased this summer. I feel like they make make their debut at Doak this weekend. White lids, garnet jersey and white pants under the lights.

3 – What FSU *SHOULD* wear when they take on Notre Dame.

I would’ve been totally fine with the traditional home uniforms this game. But I’d love to see the white lids or gold lids with that combo I mentioned above. We’ll find out real soon. Go Noles!
