TaReef’s Three Uniform Thoughts: Miami

We’re continuing our weekly series that will have 12 (need a win this weekend to get to 13) editions this season. A weekly FSU Football uniform conversation with TaReef Knockout.

This week, Florida State is on the road to take on UM.

1 – Let’s talk about the history of what FSU has worn against Miami.

FSU typically goes traditional home when we take on the Canes. To be honest, I can’t think of any home game I’ve seen where we haven’t gone Garnet and Gold. The last time FSU wore an alternate home uniform (Gold/Garnet/White) vs. Miami was in the 2004 Orange Bowl.

2 – What do you think FSU will wear when they take the field on Saturday night against the Canes?

After last weeks uniform choice I’d take almost any other combo Mike has to offer. I think we go back to traditional home this week. Miami will be wearing their traditional away old school look on the road (White/White/Orange). The white numbers return to this matchup for the first time since 2013. *pats self on back*

3 – What FSU *SHOULD* wear when they take on Miami this weekend?

We SHOULD bring the white pants out! No lie I would be pretty hyped pre-game. It’s a dope combo and would look really nice vs. Miami this week. It would also bring back some ‘04 Orange Bowl vibes, but this time hopefully we leave the game with a victory. Go Noles! Beat Miami.
