This Week in FSU Athletics: Short Turnaround

The Seminoles are off most of next week, but have a flurry of games this weekend!

Looking at the week ahead, here’s a preview for what Florida State has coming up:


After a much-needed victory over the Syracuse Orange, the Seminoles are hitting the road for Chapel Hill, NC to face the UNC Tar Heels. The ‘Noles play this Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at 3:30 P.M. ET on ESPN. Florida State upset the fifth-ranked Tar Heels last season in Tallahassee, FL for Mike Norvell’s signature win so far in his tenure. Look for a competitive game against the Coastal division leader.


Florida State has a home contest against the Syracuse Orange tonight at 7:00 P.M. ET, which will be broadcast on the ACCNX. Be sure to wear Pink if you plan on attending the game!

Then, they face the Miami Hurricanes in Tallahassee on Sunday, October 10th, 2021 at noon ET. The second game will be broadcast on the RSN.


The volleyball team is on the road, in Durham, NC this Sunday, October 10th, 2021 and will play the Duke Bluedevils at 1:00 P.M. ET. The game will be broadcast on the ACCNX.

Men’s Swimming & Diving

The Florida State Men’s Swimming & Diving team will make their debut on the road from this Friday, October 8th, 2021 through Saturday, October 9th, 2021. Friday’s swim meet will begin at 5:00 P.M. ET, while Saturday’s will begin at 10:00 A.M. ET. The meet is at the FIU TYR Classic in Miami, FL.
