Strong Start For Koepka At Torrey Pines

Stop me if you’ve heard this before.

Brooks Koepka is hovering around the top of the leaderboard at a Major Championship.

Koepka, who missed the cut at the Palmetto Championship last week, looks like he plans to stay around for the weekend at the US Open.

While it should come as no surprise given his recent US Open history, Koepka starts the championship in good shape eyeing his fifth major championship.

Strong Front 9 For Koepka

A strong front nine was the start Koepka was looking for and that’s exactly what he got at Torrey Pines Thursday.

The Florida State legend would finish his opening round with a 2-under 69, good for T3 as he turned in his card with plenty of golfers still yet to finish their first round.

Koepka will tee off Friday afternoon at 4:14pm EST.
