Koepka, Berger in contention at The Open

A pair of former Noles are hovering around the top of the leaderboard at The Open heading into the weekend. Brooks Koepka (-5) and Daniel Berger (-3) are both within striking distance of current leader Louis Oosthuize (-11).

The final major of the year is taking place at Royal St. George Golf Club in Sandwich, England. Both Koepka and Berger will tee off before noon EST Saturday.

Koepka shook off a rough start Friday following up a double bogey with seven birdies in his final 14 holes.

Koepka was on fire both on and off the course. Brooks’ rival Bryson DeChambeau blamed his driver for his poor showing Thursday and Koepka simply cannot pass up an opportunity to troll the scientist.

Following his round Friday, Koepka had a subtle message for Bryson.
